Salary £40,000 Double Days 2 Weeks Rotating Shift Pattern 06:00am - 15:00pm 09:00am - 18:00pm We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance and Facilities Technician to work alongside the Engineering Manager ensuring the equipment, facilities and infrastructure operate at peak efficiency ! The is a strong focus on the warehouse automated systems ensuring the planned maintenance schedule of shuttles system, pick station and tower, spiral conveyors is carried out and accurately recorded on the CMMS system. Along side this you will also be looking after the site facilities carrying out any repairs and compliance safety checks including fire alarm test, legionella tests to name a few. This is a new site that launched just 2 years ago and highly automated so you will need to have a strong understanding of storage retrieval systems, automation hardware and software experience, SCADA and CCMS systems. On occasion you will be required for site call outs out side of normal working hours and you will be required to work 4 Saturdays per year. Key Responsibilities of a Maintenance and Facilities Technician Prioritise and diagnose breakdowns keeping downtime to a minimum, escalating to the engineering manager when needed or external help desks.
