Job Role: SEN Learning Facilitator
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: 29, 540 FTE
Here at Aspire People, we are on the lookout for someone with plenty of experience working with children with SEN and Additional Needs for a Learning Facilitator role in Corby. Working as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Learning Facilitator plays a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, both in and out of the classroom. In addition to providing tailored academic and emotional support within the school setting, they help students develop essential life skills by guiding them through real-world experiences. This often includes accompanying students on trips into the community, such as teaching them how to navigate public transport, use the bus safely and independently, and interact confidently in everyday situations. By bridging the gap between structured learning and practical application, the Learning Facilitator empowers students to gain confidence, independence, and the skills needed for daily living.
Who is this role suitable for?
Role
This role would be ideal for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, HLTA, or Qualified SEN Teacher. All the below would be highly beneficial in this role:
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or HLTA
* Specialist SEN certifications such as Team Teach and Autism Awareness
* First Aid training
* Familiarity with EHCPs
* Experience in community-based work such as life skills coaching, youth work, or social care
* Experience working with young people with SEN needs is essential for this role
* Experience working on a 1:1 basis
