About The Role
As an Inclusive Learning Tutor at EKC Canterbury College, you will work within our Inclusive Learning department to support students across various study programmes, from sensory programmes to Level 3 qualifications.
Your responsibilities include providing group and 1:1 support to learners with diverse learning difficulties and disabilities, helping them achieve their potential.
You will collaborate with other Inclusive Learning Tutors and Learning Support Practitioners to design, deliver, and evaluate the PSA (Personal Social Achievement) support programme, focusing on planning and teaching activities that promote development aligned with learners' EHCP outcomes and preparation for adulthood.
Activities will be engaging, dynamic, and targeted to promote progress in four key areas: Cognition and Learning, Social, Emotional and Mental Health, Communication and Interaction, and Physical and Sensory needs.

About You
You will have a passion for helping students overcome learning barriers. You should be highly organized, creative, and capable of planning and delivering engaging, innovative sessions.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential to engage reluctant learners. You should be skilled in assessing and tracking student progress, planning interventions as needed. A positive attitude and empathy are crucial for this role.
