HGV Class 2 Driver The Staffing Network Ltd The Staffing Network is a National labour provider across the UK.
Our blue chip client is looking for HGV2 Drivers to work out of their Wellingborough site, with an immediate start as quick as tomorrow!!!!
You will drive a lorry from their exceptional fleet of Volvo vehicles, all less than 4 years old. Theyre a joy to drive, and are equipped to a high specification, including fridges, leather seats and many more optional extras to make sure youre comfortable.
The site run from Monday to Friday, with 45 hour working weeks, and 9-hour shifts per day which typically start at 7/8am. well-organised shift schedules mean you often know in advance where youll be driving, taking the stress out of your day.
Key Role Responsibilities
We dont micromanage our drivers. We trust them to get the job done and plan their own routes. The average number of stops in a shift is 4 to 6, so theres plenty of time to enjoy being out on the open road - but youll still be home again at the end of every 9-hour shift.
Youll make sure Cages, Pallets, Freight, Stillages and Yorks get to and from customers bang on time. At some sites, the goods will be loaded or unloaded for you - at others, youll need to do it yourself. Scanning consignments and driving pallet trucks will sometimes be part of your day.
Youll be responsible for inspecting your vehicle and trailer every day and complete a Defect Report if necessary.

What Were Looking For
Class 2 Driving licence
Driver CPC qualification card
Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Laws - and commitment to safe use of the roads
