Position:

As a key member of our Data & Technology team, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining powerful tools that help teams across the organization operate more efficiently and insightfully. From crafting Power BI dashboards and automating workflows, to maintaining data systems and collaborating with stakeholders around the world — this role is both technical and collaborative at its core.

We're looking for someone who has proven experience with Power BI and the wider Power Platform environment, has strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex data across systems (case management, donor, finance). An ideal candidate would have be passionate and proactive about upskilling in new technologies and be a clear, confident communicator — able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Familiarity with data protection laws and best practices is a plus.

For more information, please download the Role profile at the bottom of the advert.

Requirements:

Data Analysis and Reporting

* Extract, clean, and analyse data from multiple databases to generate actionable insights.
* Proactively identify and implement process improvements related to data collection and reporting.

Workflow Automation

* Design and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline manual processes.
* Develop and document low-code/no-code solutions to improve operational efficiency.
* Automate data integration processes and identify opportunities to enhance automation in existing workflows.
* Support user awareness and adoption of self-service automation tools.

Low-Code Development

* Maintain and enhance existing Power Platform solutions to address operational needs.
* Collaborate on the development of new applications that align with organisational goals.

Data Management

* Engage with subject matter experts across the business to ensure we are aligning with and documenting best practices relating to national and local data protection legislation.
* Contribute to the creation of governance documents to support the organisational rollout of low-code/no-code solutions
* Work with teams to improve data collection, storage, and reporting processes.

Stakeholder Engagement

* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across countries (Ethiopia, Uganda, UK, USA, and Australia) and departments to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
* Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
* Provide training and guidance on best practices for using Power Platform tools and other data systems, particularly focusing on best-practice use of databases and the adoption of Power BI across teams
