Working in a warehouse means health and safety is a top priority. If you bring a proactive approach to safe working practices, you'll stand out from the crowd.
This is a physical role involving lifting, carrying, and moving products—often up to 25kg—and being on your feet for most of the shift. It's a great way to stay active—who needs the gym?
Essential Criteria
* Right to Work: Must have valid documentation to legally work in the UK.
* Previous Warehouse Experience: A minimum of 12 months Warehouse experience in either foodservice, FMCG, or e-commerce.
* Availability: Must be able to work regular night shifts, typically between (18:30-05:00 or 20:30-05:00)
* Physical Fitness: Able to lift, carry, and move items, often up to 25kg, and remain on feet for most of the shift.
* Punctuality & Reliability: Proven track record of consistent attendance and timekeeping.
* Basic Literacy & Numeracy: Required for reading instructions, filling out paperwork, or using warehouse systems.
* Health & Safety Awareness: Understanding of safe working practices in a warehouse environment.
Desirable Criteria
* Forklift or MHE Certification: Valid licences (e.g., PPT, counterbalance, reach truck) are a strong advantage.
* Familiarity with WMS: Experience using Warehouse Management Systems or handheld scanning devices.
* Flexible Working: Willing to work overtime, weekends, or rotate across different warehouse areas.
* Attention to Detail: Especially important for picking accuracy or loading tasks.
* Teamwork Skills: Ability to work effectively with others in a fast-paced setting.
