We are seeking someone who is: Experienced in primary care A confident, proactive and adaptable leader Skilled at managing performance and motivating teams Competent with IT systems and digital processes Able to engage effectively within PCNs and local health networksKey Responsibilities Leadership & People Management Manage administrative and non-clinical staff Lead recruitment, inductions, appraisals and training Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policiesQuality, Governance & Compliance Act as CQC Registered Manager Lead compliance checks, audits and regulatory activity Oversee Information Governance and data protection Support SEA reviews, medicines management and quality improvementOperational Management Manage IT systems and coordinate maintenance Oversee Health & Safety and premises standards Ensure efficient patient service systems and repeat prescribing Manage daily/weekly operational tasks including stock control, rota checks and staff queriesPatient Experience Handle complaints, patient feedback and enquiries Lead FFT reporting, annual surveys and exception reporting Maintain patient information across leaflets, website and communications Lead the Patient Participation Group (PPG)Finance & Reporting Manage petty cash, private income and reconciliations Complete monthly/quarterly claims (PH, PPA, OpenExeter, Enhanced Services) Monitor KPIs, DES/LES requirements and local performance indicatorsEngagement & External Relationships Attend ICB meetings, PCN forums, peer reviews and PM meetings Build strong relationships with external partners and stakeholdersPerson Specification Essential: Primary Care experience GCSE English and Maths (A-C or equivalent) Strong communication, organisational and leadership abilitiesDesirable: Experience in a GP surgery EMIS experience
