Location: IKM Testing UK (Aberdeen)
IKM Testing is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our finance team in Aberdeen. This is a part-time position, and we're also open to applications from individuals interested in pursuing a Modern Apprenticeship in finance.
Overview
To assist in the overall performance of the finance department; in particular the accounts payable function.
Responsibilites
* Log all supplier invoices in AX Dynamics 2009.
* Follow up / track queried supplier invoices until reconciliation or credit notes are received.
* Ensure all invoices are approved at the appropriate levels.
* Check supplier statements and follow up on missing invoices.
* Process employee expenses.
* Work closely with other members of the finance team and assist where necessary.
* Effectively deliver information and respond to questions from managers, colleagues, clients, suppliers and the general public.
* Carry out your duties and responsibilities in accordance with any and all Company Policies, protocols, procedures, risk assessments and systems (including emergency and incident routines) as well as specific site assignment instruction/requirements.
Requirements
Essential:
* No professional qualifications considered essential.
Preferred:
* Accounts Technician level/Higher Education in Accounting and Finance.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Enthusiasm, commitment and personal accountability.
* Ability to work well in a team whilst also independently using own initiative.
* Proactive with a high attention to detail.
* Good time management.
* Strong quality focus is a must and able to prioritise tasks with minimal supervision.
