Apply Save We are currently recruiting for a Practice Nurse to join a supportive and forward-thinking practice in Torquay
This is an excellent opportunity for a UK-registered nurse, including newly qualified nurses, to develop their career within a structured and supportive environment, offering strong clinical mentorship and opportunities to specialise.
As a valued member of the clinical team, you will work collaboratively with GPs and wider practice staff to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure excellent service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the registered manager with CQC-related duties and maintaining compliance standards
2. Delivering high-quality care to patients, including assessment, treatment, and evaluation of care plans
3. Managing chronic disease clinics and contributing to long-term condition management
4. Following practice policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective care delivery
5. Supporting preventative healthcare and patient education
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate nurse who is keen to develop within primary care.
Essential requirements:
6. UK Registered Nurse (NMC PIN required) - newly qualified nurses welcome
7. Experience in cervical cytology and baby immunisations
8. Good understanding of the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF)
9. Strong communication and teamwork skills
10. Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care
