Overview
Votel Venues is looking to add another person to their venue sourcing and hotel booking team. We are seeking a Senior Conference & Events Coordinator who will support the Ops Manager based from our head office in Harpenden.
Responsibilities
* Support clients with their venue finding needs; understand briefs and the types of venues that suit client goals.
* Propose a shortlist of venues that satisfy client objectives; liaise with venues and negotiate rates and cancellation terms to add value to the client’s venue finding goals.
* Attend FAM trips and other industry events as required to represent Votel and to expand personal network and knowledge.
Qualifications
* Experience in a hotel sales office background or another venue finding business background.
* Knowledge of Venue Directory is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.
Location & Schedule
Based AL5 4US – Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00. This is a full-time permanent role based from our head office in Harpenden.
Compensation
Pay: £27,500.00-£30,000.00 per year.
