What is the job role?
We are seeking an Adolescent Support Worker to support children and young people in remaining at home.
In this role, you will be working with Children and young people, open to children’s social care services.
As an Adolescent Support Worker, you will manage a portfolio of cases, working directly with young people and their families in their homes. Providing a flexible crisis response service with safeguarding at its heart, you’ll complete an initial assessment and develop strong skills in delivering intensive interventions.
This is an exciting opportunity to have a role in combining direct practice and contribute to service and professional development.
All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. We are currently not offering sponsorship for this role.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

You will need to be passionate about working with Children, Young people and their families, have a reassuring presence, be calm in a crisis, and be able to work with families in their homes, helping them make the necessary changes to stay together.
You are a team player with a flexible approach, willing to work on a shift basis that includes evenings and weekends.
It is essential that you bring experience of working with “Children & Families” and hold at least a Level 3 NVQ in Children & Young People.
