Responsible to the Events Manager, the Event Coordinator role is a key position in the business. The Event Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the event journey, from the planning stages through to the successful delivery of the events.
Responsibilities
* To maintain regular communication with event clients.
* To prepare event schedules and circulate them to relevant departments in a timely manner.
* Maintain contact with the event organisers throughout the event to ensure the clients needs are met and the event runs as scheduled.
* Assist with any marketing needs for your event where applicable using our website and social media platforms.
* Ensure in-house staff are informed of timings, information and their role during forthcoming events.
* Complete the post-event debrief notes and arrange a client debrief with the Events Manager where applicable.
* Keep financial information up to date for the event and prepare the final invoice to be sent to the client post-event.
* Help maintain a high standard of service throughout the department.
* Help maintain a high level of Health & Safety within the department.
* Perform any other duty as deemed reasonable by the Events Manager or Center Manager.
Qualifications
* Ideally have experience in the events and/or hospitality industry, although this is not essential.
* Possess a friendly, approachable and can do attitude.
* Be passionate about providing exceptional customer care.
* Have a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask.
* Be flexible – evening and weekend work will apply.
* Be computer literate.
* Desire to overachieve in a challenging but rewarding industry.

DBS Requirement
Some positions are classed as a regulated post and therefore require a DBS Disclosure. Where the individual does not already hold a DBS Disclosure, it will be necessary for the post holder to be submitted for a DBS check.
