THINKalpha is reshaping the capital markets. Our platform enables generative content using dynamic data. The core of our platform includes financial search, streaming analytics and is accompanied by both data and transactional frameworks. We are currently seeking a talented Front End Web Developer with a strong technical background and a passion for coding.
The ideal candidate will have experience building and managing high-performance transactional systems, and excels at delivering production-worthy commercial products and services.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage high-performance, production quality client-facing web GUIs and APIs
* Design, implement, and oversee maintenance using React, Redux, Typescript, and Javascript
* Work collaboratively with the team to ship multiple products.
* Leverage cloud infrastructure to build scalable, reliable real-time systems.
* Utilize strong debugging and problem-solving skills to ensure system reliability, recovery, and scalability.
* Engage in the full development lifecycle, from design and coding through testing and deployment.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies to keep our systems at the forefront.
Required Qualifications
* Strong experience with React, Typescript, and Javascript.
* Experience with Websockets and other real-time data transport technologies.
* Proven track record of shipping multiple commercial products to an active user base.
* Attention to detail and delivering on a user-centric approach
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex development tasks.
* Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
Considered a Plus:
* Knowledge and understanding of financial markets, trading, and data visualization is a strong plus.
* Experience building performant platforms with large user bases and a large number of concurrent users.
* Experience with Signals would be a big plus, and experience with Svelte would be great, too.
* Interest in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies.
* BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field or equivalent experience.
