We are excited to offer a fixed-term opportunity for an Electrical Apprentice to join our dedicated team at Mid Devon District Council, based at the Old Road Depot in Tiverton.
This is a fantastic chance for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to become part of our high-performing Housing Building Services team, where you’ll gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills in a supportive and professional environment.
To be considered, candidates must hold a minimum of GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English (Language or Literature), and demonstrate a proactive approach to meeting targets and learning new skills.
Reporting to the Commercial Services Manager, you will be involved in delivering a wide range of domestic electrical work across our housing stock, contributing to the safety, quality, and efficiency of our services.

As an Electrical Apprentice your duties will include but are not limited to:
Assist in the diagnosis and rectification of core trade related repair requests
10. To ensure that the quality of work meets the highest standards at all times
11. Carrying out all other core trade related repairs as instructed by the Mentor/Supervisor
12. Support other trades to deliver a professional and safe maintenance and repairs service to Tenants
