Location: Warrington
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, Site Based - with sporadic remote working where required as well as travel to other sites.
As the Operations Transformation Manager within our UNBOX Tribe, you'll lead end-to-end projects that drive automation, scalability, and efficiency across Gousto Operations. You’ll bring exceptional organisational and stakeholder management skills to orchestrate seamless workflows and deliver continuous improvement—ensuring every customer enjoys an unrivalled unboxing experience.
Core Responsibilities
* Manage automation initiatives using the capital expenditure (CapEx) stage gate process, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery aligned with operational needs.
* Lead and support GAF programmes end-to-end, reducing risk and ensuring seamless delivery.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Technology, Continuous Improvement, Health & Safety, Operations, and Unbox teams to ensure automation initiatives are designed and delivered with operational feasibility, safety, and cost-efficiency in mind.
* Utilise deep understanding of factory and supply chain processes to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and integrated into business-as-usual operations.
* Maintain visibility through site visits, trials, and implementation activities, engaging directly with front-line teams for real-world validation.
* Champion continuous improvement by identifying operational challenges, surfacing risks early, and embedding learnings for sustainable transformation programs.
Who You Are
* Strong expertise in operations management, supply chain leadership, and automation projects.
* Experience leading complex automation programs or tech initiatives, especially in fast-scaling organisations.
* Knowledge of change management frameworks for structured, risk-mitigated project execution.
* Excellent stakeholder management, strategic thinking, organisation, and delivery skills.
* Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving operational requirements.
* Knowledge of automation, digital transformation, and supply chain processes.
Qualifications
Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is beneficial.
