Support Engineer
Location: Weybridge
Hybrid: 2 / 3 days a week in the office
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 + Bonus
I’ve partnered with a small software house experiencing exciting growth. As part of that, they are looking for a Support Engineer to help support and shape their growing infrastructure.
Working as part of a small team, supporting a technically focused company, this role will span from supporting general day to day support to looking at basic DevOps practices.
As the Support Engineer what will be your main objectives?
* Offer general support to the broader business - Typically 1st to 2nd/3rd
* Learn and work towards contributing towards the ongoing support of their CI/CD pipelines
* To evolve your DevOps-based skillset in line with the business needs over time
As the DevOps Engineer, you'll need the following:
* Proven background in supporting both desktop and server environments across Windows and Linux systems.
* Exposure to scripting, particularly using Python; any working knowledge of C++, C, Bash, PowerShell or Java is welcome.
* Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
