Commercial Assistant – PLC Housebuilder | Surrey
A leading PLC housebuilder in Surrey is looking to appoint a highly organised and detail-focused Commercial Assistant to support the Commercial Department across its residential developments.
Key responsibilities include:

Setting up new subcontractors and suppliers, managing frameworks and compliance documentation
*
Raising subcontractor and supplier orders and processing invoices and applications for payment
*
Supporting payment runs, including BACS and Faster Payments
*
Issuing payment certificates and assisting with subcontractor account administration
*
Working closely with Quantity Surveyors to ensure accurate and timely payments to support site operations
*
Assisting with bought ledger queries, service bills, retention releases and finance queries
*
Providing administrative and diary support to the Commercial Director and wider commercial team
About the candidate:
*
Previous administrative experience within a PLC housebuilder, construction or commercial environment preferred
*
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*
IT literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook – COINS or similar systems advantageous)
*
Able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced, structured environment
*
Strong communication skills and a professional, team-oriented approach
