We have an opportunity for a Fostering Social Worker at Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
This is a 6-month assignment initially, paid at £33.30 umbrella.
Responsibilities
* This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior (Supervising) Social Worker in the fostering service.
* The social worker would be responsible for assessing general foster carers.
* This role is an opportunity to support foster carers to care for children and young people and to ensure they are meeting the regulatory fostering requirements.

Requirements of the role
* Qualified Social Worker
* Fully Social Work England registered
* 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
* Must have significant experience of working in a Fostering setting including demonstrable experience of undertaking fostering assessments
