Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical Engineer Bias

We are seeking an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer with an Electrical bias to join our team on a static site, providing a multi-skilled maintenance service. The role is Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (flexible), with a one-hour lunch break.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining plant and equipment to optimize reliability and maintainability, providing reactive and proactive maintenance in line with project requirements, and ensuring all operational equipment functions effectively. You will also supervise contractors as needed, complete log book paperwork, and close out jobs using a handheld device.
You must perform tasks to high standards, adhere to company policies and procedures, and report any deficiencies that could impact service delivery, safety, or the environment. Ensuring your own work is completed safely and diligently is essential.
To Be Successful In This Position You Will Need
* NVQ Level 3 qualifications in Engineering Maintenance (Multi-discipline)
* 17th/18th edition wiring regulations
* Good knowledge of building statutory compliance
You should be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974). The ability to read technical drawings, solve problems, make decisions, and communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and contractors is vital. Suitable training will be provided if needed.
This role involves attending call-outs on a rota basis. The position is based at a Police Station, requiring enhanced security vetting. An immediate start is not available.
