About the Role
Against the background of the English Devolution and Community Empowerment Bill, the University of Leeds seeks a dynamic Policy Research Manager to lead the development of West Yorkshire‑specific Area of Research Interest (ARI) and associated research programme to help shape and inform effective public policy and its implementation in West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will work closely with Leeds City Council and other regional networks to develop evidence‑informed policies addressing the region’s biggest challenges.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development of the ARI and associated research programme.
* Drive collaboration with policy partners to translate research into policy impact.
* Shape and inform effective public policy and its implementation in West Yorkshire.
