Overview
If you're aged 16 plus and interested in starting a career with the Council, perhaps looking for your first job after leaving school or college. You will combine work with studying, working towards achieving nationally recognised qualifications while gaining valuable skills and practical experience. This fixed term role is for 21 months, 37 hours per week. Apprenticeships are available to anyone over the age of 16, not in full-time education and living in England. £9.84 per hour, paid monthly. If you hold a degree you will be eligible for an apprenticeship at any level, however the apprenticeship must provide you with substantive new skills and you must be able to evidence that the content of the training is materially different from any prior qualification or apprenticeship.

Responsibilities
As a team member, you will work under the instruction/guidance of the team supervisor to undertake work. You will be studying for the Level 3 Apprenticeship in Procurement and Supply. The apprenticeship content will be tailored to suit the tasks you perform in your day-to-day work, and you will receive support and guidance in building a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate your competence in the workplace. This apprenticeship is designed to meet the needs of candidates wishing to pursue a career in procurement, supply, and administrative support.
Qualification and Training
You will study for the Level 3 Apprenticeship in Procurement and Supply, with content tailored to your role. The apprenticeship will provide you with substantive new skills and you will be supported in building a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate your competence.
