Job Responsibilities
1. Designing and developing server-side components that meet business requirements effectively and efficiently.
2. Interfacing directly with business users to understand requirements and provide solutions.
3. Assisting and guiding team members in design and development.
4. Partnering with leads to identify and mitigate risks and escalate issues as necessary.
5. Ensuring code quality and automated testing standards, participating in regular code reviews, and upholding quality gates.
Skills
1. Experience in software development.
2. Hands-on experience with Java/Scala, Spring, and RDBMS/SQL.
3. Good knowledge of multi-threading and high-volume server-side development.
4. Strong understanding of enterprise application design patterns and architectural principles.
5. Basic working knowledge of Unix/Linux.
6. Exposure to Test and Behavior Driven Development in an agile environment is a plus.
7. Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular is desirable.
8. Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
9. Willingness to learn the business domain and collaborate with stakeholders on new features.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
11. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field.
