Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to oversee the financial health of our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support organisational growth and stability. The Finance Manager will play a key role in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and optimising costs across all departments.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
* Oversee financial management activities including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
* Monitor organisational expenditure to ensure cost control and efficiency.
* Lead the preparation of financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
* Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.
* Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with other departments to support strategic planning initiatives.
* Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or related roles within a similar organisation.
* Strong knowledge of financial services, planning, and reporting standards.
* Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
* Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
* Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Sound understanding of accounts payable processes and cost control measures.
* Relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA are highly desirable.
