YouTube Video Editor Needed (5–10 min videos, talking-head + design visuals)
I'm launching a YouTube channel focused on interior design, lifestyle, and spatial wellness. I'm looking for a reliable long-term editor who can help me consistently produce clean, elevated, engaging videos.
This is NOT high-energy MrBeast style editing.
Think: calm, aesthetic, tasteful, modern YouTube (design / lifestyle niche).
Video Style
5–10 minute videos
Talking-head (full body or seated) + B-roll overlays
Clean, minimal, elevated aesthetic
Subtle movement, not chaotic cuts
Design images layered over explanations
Light background music
Clean captions for emphasis (not constant subtitles)
What I Need You To Do
You will receive:
A-roll footage
B-roll inspiration references
Notes on where visuals should appear
Occasional example videos for style reference
You will:
Cut mistakes and pauses naturally
Improve pacing while keeping it natural and conversational
Add zooms/punch-ins sparingly and tastefully
Add relevant B-roll and overlay images
Add simple text highlights (key phrases only)
Balance audio + music
Export YouTube-ready files
Editing Style (Important)
I am specifically NOT looking for:
- Fast TikTok editing
- Meme edits
- Loud sound effects
- Over-animation
- Excessive emojis or captions
I AM looking for:
- Clean, calm, premium feel
- Good pacing
- Thoughtful visual placement
- Someone with aesthetic taste
- Technical Preferences
Preferred experience with:
CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut
YouTube long-form editing
Design / lifestyle / educational creators
Deliverables
1 completed video per project
Ability to revise once or twice
Organized file delivery
Turnaround: ideally 3–5 days per video
