Duties of a PDI Technician will include:
9. Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on a variety of vehicles to ensure quality standards are met
10. Servicing and repairing vehicles with precision and attention to detail
11. Liaising with the sales team to prepare vehicles for handover to customers
12. Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using manufacturer tools and software
13. Maintaining accurate records of work carried out and parts used
14. Upholding health and safety standards at all times and maintaining workshop organisation
Requirements that the PDI Technician will need:
15. Proven experience as a PDI Technician or similar position within the automotive sector
16. Excellent knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
17. A full UK driving licence is essential
18. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and deliver quality workmanship
19. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
20. Relevant qualifications in vehicle repair and diagnostics are highly desirable
