Sonderwell is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Assistant to support a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a school setting in Ilkley. The role involves providing tailored 1:1 care to help the child participate in daily activities, access learning, and stay safe and supported throughout the school day. The successful candidate will have experience in or a willingness to be trained in complex care procedures such as tracheostomy care, suctioning, enteral feeding, and oxygen therapy.

Hourly Rate: £14.00 Location: Ilkley Shift Pattern: 2 Days During the Week, 08:20 AM - 15:50 PM + Bank Shifts

As a Complex Care Assistant at Sonderwell, you'll play a vital role in supporting a child with SEN within the school setting. Provide tailored care and emotional support to meet the child's unique needs
Assist with physical and personal care requirements throughout the school day
Escort the child safely to and from school (driving required)
Monitor and manage the child's medical needs under guidance
Communicate effectively with school staff, family, and the wider care team
Tracheostomy care
Experience working with children or in care (preferred but not essential)
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to location
Willingness to undertake specialist training and continuous development
