Applicants must have PVG Scheme membership for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult). If not currently a member, an application to Disclosure Scotland must be made and deemed satisfactory before starting.
Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check. The appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme if the role is regarded as a regulated role.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide a full comprehensive specialist service of assessment, diagnosis, treatment/appropriate management, onward referral and discharge to a complex range of patients referred to the service.
* Supervise AHP assistant practitioners, clinical support workers and students.
* Contribute to the development and delivery of training programmes for a wide range of professionals and carers.
* Educate carers and significant others in understanding the therapy process and any intervention relating to the management of patients’ medical and social needs.
