Company Type: B2B/Enterprise SaaS

Salary Range: £60,000 – £75,000 per annum

About Us

We are Localistico, the leading AI driven local marketing and analytics platform for brick and mortar retailers. We’re a B2B SaaS company on a mission to enable Brick and Mortar retailers to market at the speed of digital - connecting high-intent customers to physical stores and enabling better analytics about online-to-offline traffic.

We currently work with Global brands like Morrisons, O2 and Starbucks, helping their teams manage thousands of locations across more than 80 countries. We are also an official partner of amazing platforms like Google, Meta, Bing and Apple.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager or Finance Director: a visionary strategist who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and manage the day-to-day nuts and bolts of a scaling SaaS business. You will be the right hand to the executive leadership team, translating ambitious product goals into robust financial models while ensuring our operational engine runs without a hitch.

Efficiency is at the heart of everything we do. You should be an early adopter of AI-driven finance tools to automate reporting, streamline data analysis, and free up your time for high-level strategy. With experience in B2B/Enterprise SaaS, you will play a critical role in positioning the company for its next major milestone.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership
* Exec Level Partnering: Work directly with the Founder to craft the financial implications of our long-term strategy.
* Future Scenarios & Capital Planning: Proven experience in VC funding, Private Equity, or M&A operations, with the ability to strategically position and prepare the company for future capital events.
* Investor Relations: Assist in crafting compelling investor communications and board presentations that tell our financial story.

FP&A & Budgeting
* Financial Modeling: Build and maintain sophisticated models that support complex decision-making.
* Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide rolling forecasts that align department goals with business objectives.
* Performance Monitoring: Conduct deep-dive variance analysis to ensure we stay on track.
Hands-On Financial Operations
* The \"Day-to-Day\": Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll with precision.
* Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and dashboards, manage and decide on revenue recognition for ARR.
* SaaS Metrics: Own revenue recognition for ARR and ensure customer-facing teams have real-time data for collections and contract renewals.
* Internal Controls: Implement and maintain the financial controls necessary to safeguard company assets.
Cash & Compliance (UK & Spain)
* Treasury Management: Manage and optimize cash flow, ensuring efficient utilization of financial resources.
* Incentives: Proactively research and apply for grants or tax incentives (e.g., R&D tax credits) to maximize runway.
* Dual-Jurisdiction Compliance: Oversee reporting and submissions for Companies House, HMRC, and Spanish tax authorities, coordinating with external accountants as needed.
The Ideal Candidate
Must-Haves:
* Proven Experience: Experience as a Senior Manager, Director or Head of Finance, ideally within a SaaS startup or high-growth tech environment.
* Track Record: Proven experience in VC funding, Private Equity, or M&A operations.
* Strategic & Analytical: Strong knowledge of FP&A and reporting, backed by exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Financial Rigor: Deep experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
* Tech-Fluent: High proficiency in Xero, advanced Microsoft Excel, and a \"builder\" mindset, you love using AI to automate manual tasks.
* Communication: Exceptional written and spoken English (all company communications are in English).
* Compliance: Comfortable navigating the regulatory landscapes of both the UK and Spain.
* Startup DNA: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote-first environment.
Nice-to-Haves (The \"Bonus\" Points):
* Certification: Relevant professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Cross-Functional Savvy: Previous experience dipping into HR, Operations, or Project Management.
* Funding Expertise: Specific experience managing grant applications or complex funding processes.
* International Scope: Experience managing multi-country operations (UK/Europe)
* Spanish language proficiency
