Grade E (£27, - £28, p.a. pro rata)

Full time/Fixed-term - 10 months

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists to join the Automated Distribution & Manufacturing Centre’s (ADMC) academic team, part of the Nottingham Trent University. ADMC’s Research & Innovation team has critical mass to address the challenges in digitalisation and automation in the manufacturing and distribution sectors.

With exceptional research facilities, and a multi-disciplinary approach to working directly with industrial collaborators, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your professional reputation in the area of industrial automation and digitalisation.

A talented individual is sought to explore radical improvements through adoption of artificial intelligence technologies to the manufacturing and distribution processes in collaboration with partner industries. You will have a good honours degree and have a serious appetite to engage with collaborating industry partners to deliver applied research projects. It is expected that the candidate to have solid grounding in areas of artificial intelligence, data collection and application development.
