Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Graduate Electrical Engineer, involving travel across the UK to support utility-scale solar PV projects. The role spans a broad project lifecycle, including electrical construction, operations & maintenance (O&M), and fault rectification/repair activities, working in accordance with approved designs issued by the principal contractor.
Key responsibilities include site-based electrical supervision, coordination with contractors and project teams, verification of electrical installations against design documentation, and support for testing, commissioning, energisation, O&M inspections, and repair works. The role requires a flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to learn and contribute across different project scales and phases as required.
Qualifications
•Understanding of Electrical Engineering fundamentals and ability to read and work from electrical drawings
•Ability to adapt across project phases (construction, O&M, repairs) and varying site requirements
•Teamwork skills to operate effectively within site-based and multi-disciplinary teams
•Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field (Merit / 2:1 or above)
•Willingness to work full-time on site and travel across the UK
•Practical, hands-on mindset with a realistic understanding of site work

Full training will be provided, and the role is suited to graduates who are keen to learn, adaptable, and comfortable working in live site environments. The position offers the opportunity to develop hands-on technical skills and gain practical experience with utility-scale renewable energy assets.
