The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons that promote reading, writing, and critical thinking
* Foster a love of English while maintaining high expectations for progress and attainment
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the English curriculum within a supportive department
* Take an active role in wider school life, including enrichment activities where appropriate

Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification

* An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
