Project Planner Rate: £34.88 - £35.37 per hour UMBRELLA PAYE Location: Gaydon Contract: Inside IR35 We are currently seeking a Project Planner for a leading Automotive OEM, based in Gaydon. Key Responsibilities of the Project Planner: Define and Communicate Timing Requirements : Set clear timing requirements for the HMI HF Team and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment with program goals. Collaborate Across Departments : Work closely with delivery and integration teams to ensure departmental planning meets program needs. Utilize JIRA & Confluence : Employ JIRA and Confluence for planning, tracking, and updating project progress and milestones. Adjust Work Plans : Develop, adjust, and maintain departmental work plans, reflecting program timing, and adapting to late-stage changes. Provide Regular Project Updates : Offer consistent updates to both internal and external stakeholders on project progress, risks, and any major changes. Resource Coordination : Ensure team members have the necessary resources and data for effective execution of tasks and plans. Cross-Team Coordination : Coordinate with HMI teams in various locations to align with specification releases and share key planning insights. Track Project Status : Continuously track and report on project status, identifying and resolving obstacles to ensure timely delivery. Lead Major Projects : Take the lead on large projects or processes with minimal supervision, aligning with strategic goals and ensuring project success. Required Skills & Experience of the Project Planner: Agile Methodology Experience : Proven experience working within Agile frameworks and methodologies. Complex Organizational Planning : Demonstrated ability to plan for sizable teams across complex organizational structures. Collaborative Technical Delivery : Background in delivering technical products collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Senior Stakeholder Communication : Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage senior stakeholders and convey information across all levels. Precision Under Pressure : Ability to operate with precision and professionalism in high-pressure, fast-moving environments. Proficiency in Agile Tools : Expertise in Agile planning tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Organizational Skills : Excellent organizational and time management skills with an analytical mindset. Stakeholder Engagement : Proven ability to manage and engage diverse stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery. Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field would be preferable. Desired Skills & Experience: Automotive Industry Experience : Experience in an automotive environment is a plus. Agile Certifications : Any relevant Agile certifications are advantageous. Agile Transformation/Coaching : Experience in Agile transformation or coaching is highly desirable. Lean & DevOps Knowledge : Familiarity with Lean principles and DevOps practices will be a bonus.
