About the Role
We are looking for Civil or Structural Engineering undergraduates in their second or third year to join our office for the summer of 2026. We are looking for candidates with a passion for the built environment, talent and commitment. Applicants should possess sound technical skills, be passionate about their work and provide creative thinking.
At B&K Hybrid Solutions, we are uniquely placed to provide you with exposure to structural engineering of steel and mass timber from detailed design through to fabrication and installation on site. We will focus on developing your technical skills and you will work alongside our engineers to deliver designs for real projects. You will be involved in computational analysis, structural calculation, production of drawings and reports during your placement. Where possible we will arrange for your attendance in workshops and design meetings and you will have the opportunity to visit our fabrication facility and sites. You will be mentored by one of our engineers and will receive on the job training and regular constructive feedback throughout your time with us to allow you to grow and flourish.
You will be given the opportunity to develop your technical skills and benefit from working alongside our engineers to deliver design for live projects.
