The schemes range from £2m to £5m, and you’ll play a key role in ensuring they run smoothly, safely, and to programme.You’ll be joining a busy contractor with a strong pipeline of work, so this role suits someone confident managing multiple live projects and comfortable taking ownership from start to finish.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee several projects across Berkshire, covering both new build and refurbishment work.Lead site teams and maintain high standards of health and safety.Manage programmes, subcontractors and site resources.Keep firm control of project budgets and maintain commercial awareness.Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, the supply chain and professional teams.Chair progress meetings and provide clear updates on project status.Ensure quality expectations are met on every scheme.Resolve issues quickly to keep projects moving.RequirementsProven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry.Solid background working on both new build and refurbishment projects.Experience running projects in the £2m–£5m range.Comfortable managing multiple schemes at the same time.Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.Commercially aware with the ability to work independently.Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Berkshire.Contract DetailsLength: 6 monthsRate: £360–£400 per day (Ltd / Umbrella & NO CIS )Start: Immediate or within your notice periodIf you’re interested in this opportunity, please apply via the link below or contact James Mitchell at the Southampton Hays office for a confidential discuss # 4766314
