We are now looking for a Contracts Manager to join our team covering sites across the South West on a full-time, permanent basis. Apply here.
What you'll be doing
As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing developments all the way from land acquisition to completion. You will be leading Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers, Forklift Drivers and Operatives, as well as managing relationships with our subcontractors. You will work closely alongside all other departments in the company, including Land, Technical, Commercial, Customer Service and HR. You'll be an advocate of quality in all that your teams do, from the homes you deliver for our customers, through to the quality of information you're providing to other departments.
Reporting into the Director of Construction, you will ensure that Programme, Quality and Cost targets are achieved within agreed budgets and timescales through the effective leadership of your teams.
Health and Safety on site is key, and we pride ourselves on our excellent Health and Safety standards here at Cavanna Homes. You will ensure standards are maintained and improved upon at all times, and will have the support of our Senior Leadership Team to do so.

Who we are looking for
To be considered as a Contracts Manager, we are looking for:
* Relevant construction industry qualification
* Previous experience in the housebuilding industry in a managerial capacity
* Experience managing subcontractor relationships
* Knowledge of relevant legislation such as Health & Safety, NHBC requirements, CDM and Building Regulations
* Knowledge of construction methods, defect management and quality control processes
* Able to interpret drawings, specifications and programmes
* Strong communications and collaboration skills
