BMC Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join their client's team based in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear .
This role is instrumental in providing support and guidance to junior team members as well as leading strategic initiatives across the organization.
Key Benefits: GBP42,500 - GBP46,500

Hybrid working: 3 days in the office in Sunderland, 2 days remote
Responsibilities: Lead a small payroll team, monitoring performance and providing feedback
Manage the organization's end-to-end in-house payroll service with high accuracy
Oversee the pension scheme, ensuring compliance with legislation
Lead salary reviews and increases
Provide payroll data for management reports
Liaise with pension providers and communicate with staff
Develop reward and benefits schemes, including salary sacrifice options
Lead pensions and payroll audits
Drive continuous process improvements
About You: Proven experience as a payroll manager, supporting a team
Experience managing end-to-end payroll in a large organization
Knowledge of statutory payroll and HMRC regulations
Experience leading pensions and payroll audits
Experience contributing to benefits strategy development (desirable)
