Overview
The Environment Agency is seeking two Benefits and Efficiencies Analysts to join the Transformation Portfolio Management Office (PMO). The PMO focuses on creating a centralised portfolio that drives change, transformation, and continuous improvement. You will analyse data from PMO colleagues and project managers to help set standards for benefits and value management and embed them across the portfolio. You will help teams identify, value, and validate their project benefits and support decision-making, risk management, and strategic alignment.
Responsibilities
* Analyse data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers across the portfolio to inform benefits and value management.
* Set and embed standards for benefits and value management across the portfolio.
* Identify, value, and validate project benefits and provide evidence to support risk management and decision-making in change and transformation initiatives.
* Collaborate across organisational boundaries to build constructive relationships and communicate complex analysis clearly to non-technical audiences.
* Develop and maintain dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel) to monitor benefits and efficiencies.
Qualifications and Experience
* Strong analytical skills with proven experience as a Benefits Analyst, Efficiencies Analyst, or Business Analyst.
* Experience building and maintaining dashboards or reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel).
* Ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and build constructive relationships.
* Clear communication skills; able to explain complex analysis simply and persuasively to non-technical audiences.
* Self-motivation and adaptability; comfortable working independently as well as in a team.
* Experience producing guidance, toolkits or frameworks to support colleagues.
* Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures; actively consider diversity in work.

Additional Information
* Location: Hybrid working, with an EA Office base location; national role, working location is hybrid.
* Some travel and overnight stays may be required; smart tools are used to stay connected and reduce travel.
