We’re hiring an Audit Senior to deliver high-quality audits, support junior team members, and work closely with clients. You’ll take on increasing responsibility at a supported pace, backed by an experienced local team, with a clear pathway towards Audit Manager — and the flexibility to thrive professionally and personally.
What you’ll do
* Plan, execute, and complete audit assignments in line with UK auditing standards
* Lead audit fieldwork, including substantive and analytical procedures, often on-site at client premises
* Take ownership of sections of the audit file, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and clear documentation
* Prepare statutory financial statements and highlight key risks or matters for Manager/Partner review
* Review and coach junior team members, providing constructive feedback
* Communicate effectively with clients and escalate risks appropriately
What we’re looking for
* ACA / ACCA / CA qualified
* Proven experience delivering audits in a UK practice environment
* Comfortable owning audit sections from planning through to completion
* Experience coaching junior staff and supporting their development
* Confident engaging with clients and escalating issues
* Ambitious to progress towards Audit Manager within a structured development framework
