This includes:Owning management accounts, statutory reporting, audit, tax, treasury and financial controlsDelivering clear, timely monthly and quarterly reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and working capitalActing as the senior point of contact for auditors, tax advisers, shareholders and regulators, anticipating issues and driving resolution.Capital Allocation & Shareholder ValueA core part of this role is building investor‑grade financial discipline and supporting long‑term value creation:Leading the budget, forecast and long‑term planning cycle, including scenario planning and sensitivity analysisEnsuring plans align with strategy, funding availability and operational capacityShifting the organisation from short‑term operational focus to long‑term sustainability, resilience and valueOwning cash flow, liquidity and funding strategy, including downside and stress scenariosStrengthening commercial capability, including unit economics, cost and margin control, pricing discipline and decision support.Finance Systems, Data & ControlsYou’ll ensure the finance infrastructure is robust, scalable and fit for growth:Overseeing finance systems, data architecture and reporting platformsEnsuring strong, effective financial controls are embedded in day‑to‑day processesActing as the senior finance interface with Legal, Governance and Internal ControlDriving continuous improvement, including automation, data quality, process efficiency and knowledge transfer across teams.Key RelationshipsYou’ll work closely with:Managing Director and Senior Leadership TeamBoard and ShareholdersExternal auditors, tax and legal advisersHead of Governance / Internal Control (interface role)Qualifications & ExperienceWe’re looking for a senior finance leader who brings both technical strength and commercial judgement:Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role within a complex, capital‑intensive, regulated or infrastructure‑focused organisationStrong commercial and financial judgement, with experience supporting executive and board‑level decision makingConfident influencing at senior levels, including MDs, Boards and shareholders, ideally within a JV or multi‑entity structureDeep technical accounting and reporting expertise, including IFRS and statutory reportingQualified Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CA or equivalent strongly preferred)High levels of integrity, discretion and professionalism, with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential mattersThis role is about helping the organisation transition from set‑up and operational focus to strategic, investor‑grade financial discipline.
