Requirements
* Right to work in the UK - this is essential
* Must provide 2 proven professional references - this is essential
* Possess or willing to obtain a DBS Certificate on the update service
* Previous experience in a classroom, either as a cover supervisor or as a teaching assistant!
* Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
* A positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced educational environment
Responsibilities
* Supervising and managing the classroom in the absence of the classroom teacher
* Ensuring all students are on task and completing the prepared activities
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure children remain on task with their learning activities
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupil participation and engagement
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy
* Provide feedback to teachers about the progress and behaviour of children during their lessons
* Supporting students who may require additional support
