A respected South West-based consultancy is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join their growing team in Exeter. This is a great opportunity to get involved in a variety of projects including residential, commercial, education, health etc as part of a supportive, trusted team.
The Role
You’ll assist in the delivery of infrastructure and drainage design for a range of projects, carrying out technical design work from concept through to construction. Supporting junior staff if required.
Key responsibilities include:
* Producing designs using AutoCAD and design software such as InfoDrainage or Flow
* Preparation of calculations and technical submissions
* Working on drainage strategies and Section 104, 106, 38 and 278 agreements.
* Supporting with site visits and internal project meetings
* Ensuring timely, accurate delivery of work.
* Supporting junior team members if required for your post.
What You’ll Need
* Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
* Minimum of 6 months’ experience in drainage or infrastructure design (post-grad or placement)
* Awareness of the residential sector desirable
* Proficiency with AutoCAD
* Experience with InfoDrainage, Flow or similar drainage software
* A collaborative approach and willingness to learn
