The Role:
As a Maths Teacher at Teenage Kicks, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring lessons meet the diverse needs of our students.
* Teach a range of mathematical concepts up to GCSE, fostering problem-solving, numeracy skills, and confidence.
* Differentiate lessons to support students with SEND, EHCPs, or behavioural challenges, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
* Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning and development.
* Encourage participation and resilience in Maths through creative and interactive learning methods.
* Support students' emotional and social development, working closely with the SENDCo, Learning Mentors, and Pastoral Team.
Who We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Maths at Key Stages 3 & 4 (experience in alternative provision is an advantage).
Ability to differentiate lessons and support students with diverse learning needs.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
A flexible and adaptable approach, with a focus on student well-being and academic success.
A passion for Maths, with the ability to inspire and engage students.
