Role Overview: The Mechanical Project Manager will take ownership of off-site mechanical plantroom projects within our Banbridge factory, leading them from planning through to completion. The role focuses on tracking progress, spotting roadblocks early, and resolving issues quickly to keep everything on programme. It requires close coordination with supervisors, trades, and other disciplines to avoid clashes, alongside providing technical engineering input on design, equipment selection, and documentation approval. The position also supports procurement and supply chain activities, monitors supplier performance, and manages subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements. Additionally, it focuses on maintaining cost control, tracking progress against budgets, identifying and mitigating risks, and upholding high-quality standards. Strong emphasis is placed on accurate documentation, regular stakeholder updates, and ensuring all works meet relevant codes, standards, and company procedures.
