SIA Security Employability Tutor\n Across Greater Manchester\n Up to £28,000 (dep on exp) - 25 Days Holiday Bank Holidays, contributory pension\n Full-time, Permanent\n The Role:\n We’re looking for a SIA Security Employability Tutor to deliver engaging, short-course training to unemployed adults looking to enter the security industry. This role is based across Greater Manchester and includes classroom-based delivery of a suite of sector-specific qualifications, including the Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors (SIA), Level 2 Spectator Safety, First Aid at Work Level 3, and awareness training on ACT and Martyn’s Law.\n You’ll play a vital role in helping learners build the skills, knowledge and qualifications needed to secure an SIA licence and launch a career in the security sector.\n Duties:\n\nDeliver SIA?aligned training covering Door Supervision, CCTV, conflict resolution and physical intervention.\nGuide learners through mock exams, identity checks and badge application so they can gain their SIA licence quickly.\nCreate inclusive lesson plans and resources that bring security scenarios to life and cater for mixed abilities.\nEmbed employability skills such as customer service, report writing and working under pressure.\nMonitor learner attendance, assess work, provide feedback, and maintain up?to?date files for audit and Ofsted.\nEnsure training meets Home Office and awarding?body requirements and all contractual paperwork is spot on.Required Skills:\n\nBackground teaching or training within the security industry (SIA licence essential).\nMinimum PTLLS; higher teaching qual preferred.\nSound understanding of SIA standards and badge?application processes.\nAbility to motivate learners who may be new to formal study.\nExcellent organisation, record?keeping and classroom?management skills.Passionate about supporting people into secure, long?term jobs in the security sector.\n \n To meet safer recruitment policies, your CV must include information relating to any gaps in your CV over the past three years and if you are successful you must agree to a social media check prior to starting in the role.\n \n Due to the nature of this role, you will need to undertake an enhanced DBS check and there will be regular travel across the region so access to your own vehicle is essential.\n \n If this sounds like the perfect role for you then please submit your CV.\n \n This vacancy is being handled by Aspire Recruitment.
