Teaching Assistant – Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
Weekly Salary: £425 to £475
Hours: Monday to Friday, Term time only (8:30am to 3:30pm)
Contract: Temporary with opportunity to go perm
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?
We are seeking a caring, patient, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team supporting pupils aged 4 to 19 with a variety of learning, communication, and physical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with class teachers and other professionals to support the learning and development of pupils with SEN.
* Provide one-to-one and small group support, tailored to individual needs.
* Promote engagement, independence, and a positive learning environment.
* Support pupils with personal care and physical needs where necessary.
* Assist with the preparation and adaptation of learning materials and classroom activities.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable but not essential – training and support will be provided.
* A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to working with children with additional needs.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
