An established and rapidly growing facilities management company based in Coventry is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join its supportive and friendly office team. This is a permanent, office-based role offering the opportunity to be part of a successful business that continues to go from strength to strength. Working with a wide range of clients across the UK, the company has built a reputation for delivering high-quality services from landscaping and grounds maintenance to building projects and ongoing property maintenance. With a team of around 50 employees and a strong pipeline of new contracts, its an exciting time to join their growing operation. The business takes pride in creating a positive working environment where everyone plays a key part in delivering excellent results and maintaining strong relationships with customers. What we need from you: Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Accounts Assistant or other accounts role dealing with sales administration Minimum 2 years experience in customer service and client relations Experienced and familiar with things like credit control, reconciliation, dealing with sales invoices and resolving queries Must have excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills Good attention to detail and organisation skills Desirable: Experience with Xero and Big change software What the role involves: Credit control - contacting clients to chase payments for overdue invoices Query management - resolving any issues with sales invoices to ensure they are cleared for payments Client Portals - ensuring all client portals are up to date and uploading all invoices Remittance reconciliation - tracking all payments from clients and reconciling to invoices on Xero Quote administration - following up on quotes submitted for feedback from potential clients Dealing with sales invoices - raising sales invoices on Xero using details on big change Other sales related admin, customer relationship management, and query management as required by the role Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Hours: Working Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week - 8am to 4pm with 1 hour break each day.
