You will be expected to work across both our Barlborough (Main site) and Renishaw (Branch) surgeries.
Main duties of the job
Provideroutine and same-day clinical consultations (face-to-face, telephone, andonline) preferred working pattern a Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.
Takepart in the practice on-call rota.
Conducthome visits as required.
Managerepeat prescription requests and medical correspondence.
Assessundifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations, initiating appropriateinvestigations and referrals.
Developpersonalised care plans in line with practice protocols.
Offerhealth education, advice, and lifestyle counselling.
Maintainaccurate and timely clinical records.
Participatein audit, clinical governance, and service improvement initiatives.
Prescribesafely and in accordance with the local prescribing formulary.

Barlborough Medical Practice is a friendly forward thinking GP practice in Barlborough, North East Derbyshire, and a member of the NHS Derby and Derbyshire ICB.
The Practice is a semi rural dispensing practice run from 2 sites, a main surgery at Barlborough, and a branch at Renishaw.
We are seeking to recruit a Salaried GP who would work from both of these sites:-
* Four Partners (3 GP & 1 PM)
* Clinical System: TPP SystmOne
* 6 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata to full time)
* We are looking for a GP to work 4-6 sessions (Tuesday/Thursday/Friday), with optional extra overtime
* Each session reflects a BMAsession = 4 hours 10 minutes
Job responsibilities

Complywith all relevant practice policies including confidentiality, safeguarding,health & safety, and data protection.
Participatein PCN-wide meetings, training, and CPD events.
Engagewith practice population health initiatives and contribute to local servicedelivery models.
Contributeto coding, record summarisation, and use of clinical systems.
Upholdinfection control and cleanliness standards in clinical areas.
Participatein appraisal, revalidation, and quality improvement processes.
Supervisionand Support
Clinicalsupervision provided by the practice GP Partners.
Operationaloversight by the Practice Manager.
Responsible to: Partners.
Workwill be largely autonomous with access to mentoring and peer support across thepractice.
Qualifications
* MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
* Fully qualified GP with UK GMC registration.
* Inclusion on the National Performers List (Derbyshire).
* Clear enhanced DBS check.
* Eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship requirement.
* Familiarity with SystmOne.
* Experience with vulnerable or underserved populations.
* Previous involvement in quality improvement or service evaluation.
* UK Driving License.
Experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage clinical uncertainty and workload prioritisation.
* Understanding of primary care challenges and integrated care pathways.
* Experience of developing evidence-based treatment plans.
* Strong record-keeping and IT skills.
