Role Description
This is a contract on-site role for a Site Engineer based in Leiston. The Site Engineer will manage daily operations at assigned project sites, including supervising site activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, interpreting project specifications, and collaborating with project teams to ensure timely delivery within budget. Responsibilities also include conducting site surveys, overseeing material quality, and ensuring adherence to technical drawings and plans.
Qualifications
* Strong background in site management, surveying, and interpreting technical drawings
* Familiarity with safety standards and experience managing compliance on construction sites
* Competent in problem-solving, decision-making, and time management
* Experience working in the Building, Civil Engineering, Underground, or Rail sectors
* Proficiency in relevant software and project management tools
* Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate with various project stakeholders
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
* Relevant certifications in health and safety or engineering are advantageous
