Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to join our team in Northampton. As a HR Advisor, you will provide timely, effective, and comprehensive support to line managers in all aspects of HR while meeting the immediate and long-term needs of the site, and to develop and deliver the HR strategy.
Responsibilities include:
1. Manage and support the full range of HR activities within the Employee Lifecycle such as onboarding, promotions, and exits.
2. Provide full HR support for a client group within the Technical Services Division.
3. Offer people advisory support to managers and employees on a wide range of topics including employee relations, performance management, and other complex issues.
4. Assist in investigating and resolving people relations issues.
5. Coach managers across all levels.
6. Manage and support HR Systems, including Time & Attendance and Payroll.
Requirements:
* Proven track record as an HR advisor in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies/practices, and employee relations.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong, long-standing relationships.
* CIPD level 5 qualification or demonstrable working experience.

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract, mainly working Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, with some flexibility on start and finish times.
