Summary
We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team based in Purfleet. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring timely deliveries of asphalt and aggregates, contributing to our commitment to excellent service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport asphalt and aggregates safely.
* Ensure timely delivery of materials to designated locations.
* Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules.
* Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and deliveries.
* Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes.
* Qualifications
* Valid commercial driving license (CPC).
* Valid MPQC card and Safe Driving certificate
* Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in the haulage industry.
* Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
* Experience with tippers, MINIUMUM 2 YRS HGV LICENCE REQUIRED
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
